Well, I for one do turn on my TV to watch the photos I made (not referring to erotic photos here, though). Sometimes an erotic photo can capture a perfect moment, and video is not about moments. If you watch assorted pictures, you can see dozens of different girls and scenes in a minute, while with a video you will only see one scene for this time amount. Many of the major adult sites (e.g. xHamster, Pornhub) have picture areas. But with all that said, in general – yes, currently video is the king. Until the VR or something takes over 😉
