Again, if you live in San Francisco, it is common knowledge that feminist groups were just as much behind the nudity laws as the supervisor who wrote the law was. Scott Wiener sought their support for the law, and got it.

Even in the European videos (and done only in a few European countries), the girls are “ignored” (i.e., legal) only if they are nude (“flaunting” their bodies), not if they’re “playing” with themselves or each other (i.e., “lewd and lascivious behavior”: performing public sexual acts).

To the previous comment regarding what happened in San Francisco: as a resident( see my screen name) there was a bit more to the SF nudity ban than business complaints, there is a political power base, comprised of politically correct groups, including feminist groups, that wanted the nudity ban due to ” objectification of women “, catering to the patriarchy”, and other such verbiage. And, a gay man who was a city supervisor wrote and sponsored the law, due to complaints about a man in his district who would sit in a lawn chair nude at certain locations, just to be nude. A quote” Harvey Milk ( the first gay city supervisor ) didn’t protest, serve and die for this”. The rest of the story, if you will.

This illustrates why you don’t see very many nude in public videos from the US, and why FTV was once so amazing that they had as much public footage as they had. ( all the FTV footage you see on the free sites, like this one, was shot in the Phoenix/Tempe metro area.) Contrast to Europe, where nude women are ignored, mostly( and a live and let live attitude). Societal/cultural differences, sure. But calling law enforcement is an only in the US reaction, even here where I’m from, San Francisco. Live and let live is dying, if not dead, here in the US.

I couldn’t agree more. When Europe’s puritans came to America they made a lasting, and I would say, unhealthy lasting impact.

I remember when the “Wiener bill” got passed (sponsored by gay Scott Wiener). Businesses weren’t against NiP just because it made public areas family un-friendly, but also because they didn’t like having to deal with complaints of customers having to sit on seats where someone had sat naked. Nude people bringing their own towels to put down before sitting was an unsatisfactory solution. Plus, diners didn’t want to see other diners naked as they ate.
